I always try to inspire my team to come up with new ideas, and communicate them to the rest of the team. When working in pairs it is pretty easy to just talk to your team member and tell them about your idea and whether it sounds good or not. But either way, don’t lose your idea, I’ll bet we all want to hear about it!
I usually urge my team to add the idea to the Backlog and then discuss the ideas further during any refinement or planning meeting. In my team we have a meeting once a week, where we discuss any production issues, or if e need to go through something technical, and where we now also will discuss new items in the backlog. In this meeting we will look at new items and decide if we should move them to the Review column which is where we add things that we consider worth implementing, or just remove them, maybe with a Won’t fix (yes – we are using JIRA).
My point is: Bring all ideas to the table, let the rest of the team know!
